PRC Board Exam Performance

The past 10 years (2012–2022) show an average board exam passing mark of 71.76% as against the national passing rate of 44.86%. Since 2000, there have been 82 graduates from the program, and out of this number, 73 passed the licensure examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission for Agricultural Engineers, now known as Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers.

Since 1979, the BSAE/BSABE program of CPU has produced 6 PRC board exam topnotchers in the person of Dr. Zennifer Oberio (who is affiliated now with the Philippine Science High School – Western Visayas) in placing No. 1 in 1992 and Engr. Edwin Ceasar Ian Den Senobin (who works with the Department of Agriculture – RFO 6) in placing 1st in 2001. CPU’s performance in the licensure exam for agricultural engineers has been classified under the "less than 10 examinees" category. Except for 2001, when out of the 14 takers, 12 passed the board exam. This fete was recognized by PRC awarding CPU as the 2nd Best Performing School in the September 2001 Board Exam. This batch also produced the 1st placer (Engr. Senobin) and the 5th placer in the person of Dr. Aries Roda Romallosa (who is with Central Philippine University).
