CARES Excel in Agricultural Education

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairman, Prospero "Popoy" de Vera, recently recognized the College of Agriculture, Resources, and Environmental Sciences (CPU-CARES) as the Center of Excellence for Agricultural Education. CPU-CARES was given the Center of Excellence for Agricultural Education and an Outstanding Board Performance Award for having the second-best performing agricultural school in the country for the academic year 2019–2020 on the Board Licensure Examination. The awarding ceremony was held on November 25, 2021, at the Zuri Hotel in Iloilo City.

 

CPU's President, Dr. Teodoro C. Robles, led the team during the awarding ceremony. He was joined by Dr. Jaime Cabarles Jr., Dean of CPU-CARES, Dr. Irving Domingo Rio, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Florence Bogacia, Vice President for Finance. As the Center of Excellence for Agricultural Education, CPU-CARES is honored and eager to deliver high-quality instruction, research, and extension.
